This is a movie about the victory of good over evil. It was released in 2011. In 2014, Producer S.S.Rajamouli told that he is going make a Hindi remake of this movie with Shriya Saran and Rana Daggubati in lead roles, but due to some issues the movie was dropped later.In 2017, producer Anil Sharma discussed that he will remake this movie in Hindi starring his son Sunny Deol and Akshara Haasan.. The casting was done and Sunny Deol will be playing lord Vishnu and Akshara will be playing goddess Lakshmi.In 2018, a new director named Sant Balaji is going to direct this movie in Hindi. The shooting of the movie will start from January 2019. It is also going to have a worldwide release in 2020.. The cast includes Manav Kaul, Srishty Rode, Naveen Kasturia, Radhika Madan and Amrita Mukherjee among others...
The film's soundtrack was released on 3 March 2012 at a function held in Hyderabad. The soundtrack consists of 8 tracks, composed by V. Harikrishna and lyrics were penned by Ramajogayya Sastry and Ramana Gugula. Ramana, Ramajogayya Sastry and Ravi Basrur also sang the background score. The music rights were sold to Aditya Music for 3 years. The album was a Total Hit in the Year 2012.The film was released on DVD in India on 23 March 2013 by Anil Sharma's banner "Anil Sharma Movies".
